VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL DOGS AT 41K9...
Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella (kennel cough), and Canine Influenza* (H3N2 & H3N8) vaccines must be up-to-date. Please provide updated copies of vaccination due dates. All puppies regardless of age require the same vaccinations. All clients are responsible for providing 41K9 Staff with relevant vaccine paperwork from your dog's vet office. Our staff needs to see the vaccine renewal dates (due dates) for your dog's vaccines.
***If this will be your dog's first time receiving the Canine Influenza vaccination, they must wait 24 days after receiving the first round of the vaccination in order to come to doggy daycare. In addition, your pet must also have the second round of the flu vaccination. The second round would be administered from either 1 to 2 weeks after the first round. So in order to come to doggy daycare, your pets must have the first round and the second round of the flu vaccination as well as 24 days after ROUND 1.
Still not sure? Email us with any questions! As always with your dog's health your primary communication should always be with their vet office.
Daycare is included with Boarding but not mandatory:
Clients interested in only having their dog board without daycare do not need their dogs to be spayed/neutered and will not have to be Temperament Tested. All vaccinations and still required and you must be registered before scheduling any boarding.
Spayed or Neutered:
For the safety of all of our dogs, every dog over the age of six months must be spayed or neutered.
Not all dogs are comfortable in a largely social environment. To ensure that all dogs play together safely, 41K9 requires you to schedule a Temperament Test for your dog.
Our staff spends time getting to know your dog and talking to you about your dog’s experiences and history. He/she is then gradually introduced to the play group while we carefully observe his/her reactions.
Daycare with Boarding:
Daycare is included with boarding for any dogs that have passed their Temperament Test. *41K9 highly recommends, but does not require, all new overnight boarding pups complete 3 days of daycare prior to their first overnight stay with us to ensure their comfort during the stay and meet all their new human and furry friends ahead of time.
